Heritage Dance and Cultural Center

Heritage Dance and Cultural Center offers lessons in international, Armenian, Folk, Classical, Hip Hop, Latin dance classes to children of all ages. The center has lessons in fine arts, music, drama, chess, Armenian language and math tutoring.

Heritage Dance & Cultural Center was founded by Narine Petrosyan (legal name Narine Ablabutyan). The purpose of the center is to increase and diffuse knowledge about the cultures and traditions that enrich our nation and the world. The founder has been studying and performing dance since age four. Ms. Petrosyan has performed on Armenia’s national stage and at cultural festivals around the world. Her professional dance background includes international folk and classical dances, flamenco, modern and Latin dances. She was a soloist in the renowned Armenner Armenian National Dance Ensemble and performed internationally in Armenian, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, French and Canadian dance festivals. During her career as a professional dancer, in addition to performing and teaching, she has developed her own unique dance curriculum, innovative teaching strategies, and original choreography. Her mission was to bring together caring teachers who would inhibit appreciation of arts and knowledge of the world to children. Heritage Dance & Cultural Center now includes more than 18 unique programs with highly qualified teachers from all around the world.
